High heels clickety clack

Pencil skirt with split in the back

Waist pulled tight with big black belt

Max-Factor make-up a wee drop of scent

Hair tied up in a pony tail

Big gold hoops dangle from my ears

New white shirt with collar turned up

A Whirlpool bra helps give me a bust

6-5 special blasts out from the Tele

It’s a Saturday night and I’m nearly ready

In the mirror one last pose

ree

As I dab some powder on my nose

Off to the dance now with my friends

Mum’s last warning – be home by ten

Arm in arm we go down the street

Swaying the hips giving the boys a treat

Some boys whistle we don’t look back

High heels going clickety clack
